A timetable is a gate
Thursday at 9am works for some and shuts out everyone else. The run should fit the runner, not the other way round. So on Hysplex, nobody sets the time for you.
Running clubs are built around one person’s timetable. Hysplex is built around yours. Plan the run you want to do, tell the chapter, and see who turns up. No club to join, no one to answer to.
Thursday at 9am works for some and shuts out everyone else. The run should fit the runner, not the other way round. So on Hysplex, nobody sets the time for you.
No organisers, no committee, no permission. One runner picks a route, a day and a time, and that is a run. The chapter is told, and whoever wants to joins.
No streaks, no attendance, no guilt. Run once and vanish, run every week, or turn up only for the long ones. Someone who ran once isn’t a lapsed member. They are a runner.
A chapter is every runner in a city. A club forms around each run, for as long as the run lasts, and then it dissolves. Next time it forms around a different run, with different people.
The easy five and the hard session share a start line. Post your time, see how the run went, watch the chapter grow. The numbers are there for you to use, not to rank you.
Plan the run. The people will follow.
Find your chapter, plan a run, or join one that is already out there.
